Faldo: The trust has gone

The Golf clubs controversy surrounding the imminent publication of Into the Bear Pit, Mark James' hard hitting story about the 1999 Ryder Cup, may prove to be his downfall as the general feeling among some high ranked players is that his position as Ryder Cup Vice Captain and Golf Irons also Chairman of the European Tour Tournament Committee is untenable.

James slams Tom Lehman and Nick Faldo in his new book Callaway X-22 Tour Iron Set and callaway x-22 iron set in Faldo's opinion, he has contravened some confidences that should, in Faldo's opinion, been kept in the team meeting room at Brookline.

In an interview in The Times, Callaway Lady X-22 Irons Faldo responded to James' comments and believes that if he makes the team on merit, the issue will raise its head again and more problems will result in the biennial matches.
